Barrier-Free, Wall Mounted Water Cooler with Vandal-Resistant Round Button and Mounting

A171.8-UG-VR Series includes a self-contained, pressurized water cooler that delivers a minimum of 8.0 gallons (30.3 liters) per hour of water at 50°F (10°C) cooled from 80°F (26.7°C) inlet water and 90°F (32.2°C) ambient. Unit shall be activated from an anti-microbial front pushbutton using less than 5 pounds (2.27 kilogram) of force. Bubbler shall deliver 0.3 gallons (1.14 liters) per minute flow, have an anti-microbial flexible guard with an integrally designed non-squirt feature, and operate on a water pressure range of 20 to 105 psig (1.38 to 7.24 bar). Basin shall be constructed from 304 stainless steel and have an integral drain. Cabinet shall be either galvanized steel with Textured Grey powder coat or all stainless steel. The cooling system shall use R-134a refrigerant and be capillary tube regulated. An adjustable thermostat with an off-position shall regulate the refrigeration system.

The A171.8-UG-VR units feature a vandal-resistant circular button and vandal-resistant fixture mounting.

The patented pushbutton auto-stop feature seamlessly incorporates the circular heavy-duty vandal-resistant button for additional security while allowing easy access to the pushbutton for routine maintenance. Accessing the strainer filter under the basin by loosening the strainer plug engages an autostop, making it unnecessary to turn off the water at the angle stop. The filter can be easily rinsed with clean water. The stream height exiting the bubbler is also easily adjusted right from the front of the button. All this simple, routine maintenance can be done without the time-consuming disassembly of the unit.

A171-UG-VR Series provides Drinking Fountains with the same design but with no refrigeration. A171100F-UG-VR, A171100S-UG-VR, A171400F-UG-VR, and A171400S-UG-VR are the basic models.
